Don't you hate it when you wake up with a crick in the neck? It seems like it always happens when you have a lot to do that day!

Any wonderful farmgirl remedies to try?

My neck just popped and it seems like I have more side to side range of motion now, but my head still wants to be looking at the floor all day an doesn't want to tip up. Ouch. I have been alternating between ice and rice pack all day. I sure hope that deep sleep tonight will relax my muscles enough to unwind the pain. :(

Try hot pack, then cold pack--15 minutes for each, rotating this all day long. The heat helps with the pain, the cold with the inflamation. Asprin is also an anti-inflamatory as well as a pain killer, if you can stomache it. I have also had my chiropractor work miracles with a 'crick' that made me look like I was looking over my right shoulder all day--extended my range of mobility immediately. Hope your feeling better soon.
