It's been 2 days now...I can't talk. My chest is very tight, and yesterday I started coughing. I sound terrible. I don't have a fever, and I don't feel sick. It's just my chest.
I've been drinking fresh ginger tea, and lots of water.
Any other suggestions?

Yes, I also say go to the doctor...tight feelings in the chest are a symptom of problems that need to be checked out. I hope it gets better soon!

I had a similar experience last year, finally went to the Doctor and low and behold I had phnuemonia, didn't even feel sick, just no voice and a tight chest. Go to the doctor!!

I agree with Heather, tight chest things are not to be fooled with. Tell us what is up when you can. Hope you feel better soon.

I suggest you going to the doctor. Sounds like asthma or a bad allergic reaction. A little benadryl may help but that tight chest thing needs to be looked at by a doc. Let us know how it goes.
