Posted - Aug 01 2008 : 7:26:24 PM I've been having back pain for about a week now. Right below where my bra hits. It's mostly a dull, achy kind of pain - but if I turn just right, pain shoots right through me. I don't remember doing anything to hurt myself. My Mom mentioned today that she wonders if it could be my kidney's?
I've never had any problems in the past. Before I phone up the Dr. what else should I be looking for? I've tried to drink more water and tea today to try and flush my system out.
I've not been running a fever. I just don't know what it could be.

Posted - Aug 01 2008 : 7:51:39 PM Deb- It sounds like Kidney pain to me, but sometimes internal pain is weird. It could be a spleen issue or even a urinary tract infection. Your gall bladder could be acting up as well. I would go to the doctor immediately. I would even go so far as to say get checked out at the ER. If it is your gall bladder or spleen, if they rupture you can be in serious trouble. One other thing you could try is drinking a lot of 100% cranberry juice and taking Azo tablets (concentrated 100% cranberry). If you have a Urinary tract infection (UTI) then this will help a bit.
