It's also great served cold and mixed with toasted sunflower seeds, green salad onions and sliced olives drizzled w/ olive oil
Yes, try the health food stores first if any are close by |

Posted - Jun 27 2008 : 8:23:11 PM Janice, Do you have a Trader Joes anywhere near? Any health food store and now, most grocery stores carry it as well. As a tip, I add it to a lot of things such as rice, soup, and stuffed bell peppers etc. It cooks quickly and I'm not that crazy about it on it's own so adding it to other foods helps me out. We don't eat meat so I believe quinoa helps us get our protein. Good luck! |
