Can I just go on record as saying- I hate Head Colds!

It seems my lovely husband has been kind enough to share his with me. Sinus pain, headaches, sore throat- the works. Luckily it seems to be a short lived thing as he is feeling better in just a few days.

Unfortunatly, I care take and elderly gentleman. I called my boss since I am still mobile and could do the work, but I left the judgement up to him. I would hate to give my charge something. So I am going to stay home for a day or two and try to rest up and heal up. Blarg.

I find that a Neti pot helps tremendously. I use it every other day during cold/allergy season and it has reduced the colds in this house. It also helps clear the congestion during a cold. I purchased mine from a health food store but you can get them online and also from Frontier coop.

Alee, try to get some Mullen (or is it Mullin?) tea at an herbal store. It really seems to help with snot and the stuffed up feeling. It is safe for breastfeeding and the warm tea will help with your sore throat too. My MIL swears by Mullen tea for colds.
