STEVIA
We love the liquid drops!!!
Other that being VERY sweet it does the opposite:
-Fights tooth decay
-Supports pancreas
-Supports & balances blood sugar levels
-No calories
-Doesn't increase cravings for fat like other artificial sweeteners.

Can be grown in the US, but is a tender plant.

I use it in herbal tea, postum, hot cocoa, etc.
ENJOY

Blessings,

Oh I agree with Jennifer. Agave Nectar is absolutely divine! I'm not big on honey and don't care for Stevia...Agave is just right and healthy too! How much do I love that?

And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk to blossom

I've been using stevia for about 5 years. It's spendy but from what I've read, the least toxic of the sweeteners.

Xylatol is another that's similar to Stevia in it's dental health properties and is better for you than sugar.

Also, AGAVE Nectar/Syrup (pronounced ah-gah-vay)

FREE SAMPLES ($2.50 S/H) from Volcanic Nectar

"Recent studies of our Agave Nectar have proven that Volcanic Nectar is Diabetic Friendly, contains no artificial fillers (like other mislabeled brands) and is the only agave that has been tested in the United States by an FDA recognized company to have a Glycemic Index of 27! "

If you do a search in a couple of topics, herbal wisdom, kitchen, here's to your health and maybe garden gate, you are sure to find a number of stevia discussions! I'd provide links but I'm typing one handed at the moment:) HTH!
