Anyone check out the new Dr. Oz book on anti-aging? I bought it and so far I like it -easy to understand. I could do without all the silly diagrams he puts in his book (cartoon-like pictures of inside the body), but it has a lot of great practical information, with humor.

Their books are great, but why do they have to use those Keebler elves?

I have The Owner's Manual book; maybe I'll ask for this one for Christmas.

I know, I know! Make some changes that were suggested for you, and then update your profile again in a few months and see what it says.
Or (Oh yes, I am the impatient one) update the profile with the changes you INTEND to make, and see how much a differenve it makes. It's quite thought-provoking, isn't it? Especially subtle stuff like cellphones while driving, or driving without a seatbelt...both are factors that increase your real-age! Or how vitamins and extra fruits and veggies knock off a few years. Good stuff.

I did check out the realage website and BAD news - I am 5 years older than I my chronological age! But - it really hit home with me how little minor changes can make a real difference in how long you live and the quality of your life!

I love all the books by these two doctors...and plan to get this one next week. They do put those silly diagrams in them, I felt a little bit like a third-grader the first time I read of their books, but I guess it works for them! Check out Dr. Roizen's realage.com website as well, it's set up so you can do a personal health profile of yourself and get recommendations on where to change things to add more years to your "real age" vs. chronological age.
