My six yr old son broke his leg a year ago last May, it was a nasty spiral fracture which has since healed up. The thing is he will wake up at night sometimes screaming and crying that it still hurts, which I've noticed usually happens right before a storm gets here. Does anyone know of anything to rub on it or give him to make it feel better? I usually give him Motrin but it doesn't always seem to work.

[size=1]Blessings....
Sarah

if he is reacting to wheather like that then in actuality it has not healed. go under that assumption and make sure he is eating well - explain to your son bones and muscles need really good food. And definetly Cod liver oil (in capsules )

if it is tied to the wheather then buy
from company : Enzymatic Therapy, product : Mega-Zyme 10X
and the below Injur-Heal oil, neither has any side-effects and can be used in anticipation of a storm coming in. And then also at the time.

if he is already awake crying - have him take a bath either tempid or hot - you will have to see which it is that he likes. I never liked the cold, it was heat for me, but could not be wet heat, unless it was a bath - so the muscles did not like getting clammy. And throw in some lavender flowers in the bath water. Also, try a heating pad on low heat.

and then because it seems as if you now have a chronic problem - herbs- get the actual herb - not in capsule, refined, possibly dead form, so you will have to steep them. Only bring them to a boil, not boil and then let them sit for a good hour. Please read up on them, I would say these are a good selection. Valerian, skullcap, cramp bark, oat, slippery elm, stinging nettle, horsetail and ginger(the regular food thing).

the Company : Mountain Rose Herbs - is good.
Their Injur-heal oil is fantastic!!!!!!

I have trouble with my arm that I injured during a car wreck. I find that BenGay or other similar products or ice work best for me.
