Posted - Sep 13 2007 : 6:26:17 PM I'm due Oct. 1st! Almost there. Looks like there's some growth troubles, though, and they might deliver next week. Have to go in for some tests tomorrow. I'll be 37 weeks, not too bad. Have to have a c-section, though. My last was delivered emergency c-section because I had preeclampsia and I was going to try for a VBAC this time, but she's breech so they won't let me try. Too dangerous, especially because my last delivery was 11 1/2 months ago. :)

Posted - Sep 11 2007 : 09:18:20 AM My oldest son was 18 months old when I gave birth to my twins. Then, 22 months after them I had another boy. I have very little recollection of that time. I'm pretty sure I was in a walking / talking / working coma but was so tired I can't remember! But, we all got through it in one piece and nobody got hurt! I didn't have any help from anyone, either. And now here I am, a mommom, and still love taking care of babies! Susan |

Posted - Aug 21 2007 : 12:45:09 PM Ashley-
Do you have some genetic issues that you are dealing with? Just wondering because you have so many doctors! I only ever had one doctor at any particular time and they always told us what was going on during ultrasounds and such. I just would hate for you to be being put through a lot of mental suffering for nothing. *hugs* I am sure you are a great mom and that you newest little one is just fine in there!

Posted - Aug 21 2007 : 11:36:29 AM I am about 5 1/2 months along and time is starting to drag now. I am type 1 diabetic, so pregnancies are a long, hard, drawn out process for me. I am mostly worried about my first ultrasound right now. It is next Wednesday, and it is with 3 doctors, one for me and two for the babe, they do a fetal echocardiogram, measurements, and check for heart/organ and other birth defects. This is a big nerve wracking day for us. The docs don't talk while they are completing the tests, and you can't tell anything by what you are seeing, just have to wait until they are finished to tell you everything. Then starting next month I start my weekly appoinments, driving one hour one way, to have stress test/ultrasound each week. The drive gets boring, but it's nice to get to see the babe each week, and to know exactly how big it is. We don't find out the sex though, so that makes the weekly ultrasounds a little more difficult.
I am completely prepared though, have all the cloth dipes bought and washed and put away, etc. I am going to staying home full time after this little on arrives, and that's making me even more anxious, I can't wait to be a full time mommy to our two year old and this little one...I'm definitely the Suzy Homemaker type and working and I have not been compatible here lately! |

Posted - Aug 19 2007 : 9:17:24 PM I think I would cry if I ever had triplets! Seriously! I can just barely imagine breastfeeding twins- but how would you decide which baby had to wait while the other two fed?

Posted - Aug 16 2007 : 4:05:45 PM :D I am 'due' March 27 but I tend to have late babies, so I imagine it will be an April Sprout.
