Any remedies? I am feeling a bit nauseous and have had diarrhea yesterday and today. I am trying to drink a lot of fluids, but that is hard when your stomach is protesting and I feel very dehydrated. So far I don't think Nora is sick, but she has spit up a bit more than normal, but she doesn't have the diarrhea (thank goodness).
So anything else I can use other than Imodium to make me feel better?
This isn't flu season is it? So how the heck did I catch it?

Okay, enough already!! Isn't it awful being sick and knowing how much stuff you need to do and can't! I do hope you're on the way back to health today.

Nora is doing okay. She has a bit of a snotty nose- but I don't think it is anything major. I haven't had to clear it for her or anything. It is amazing how wiped out being sick can make you feel!

That sucks. I am still coughing up crap from my cold. Neither one of us is getting better very fast. I think being sick in the summer is the worst! Now my 2 and a half year old son is getting it. I just hope the baby doesn't. I hope Nora is still doing well. |

Okay so this is the 7th day of being sick. I was officially "Sick" of this on day 3... I just want to be better at this point before my couch has a permanent impression of my body in it.

Well I had the dubious pleasure of going to the doctor today to have them tell me "Gee that's weird...we don't know whats wrong with you!" and then the even better news that they wanted a stool sample. Yeah...not so much fun. I am really hoping I am feeling better in time for the farmer's market tomorrow!!

Alyssa, I'm glad the Immodium is making you feel better, but have you called your doctor to make sure it's safe to take while breastfeeding? Not trying to be a sourpuss, just not sure if you thought of it. |

Immodiam Advanced seems to help better than regular Immodiam. I am feeling better which is a good thing since I need to get my bath soak order to the Co-Op tomorrow morning.

Try hard to drink as much water as you can. If she is getting sick (I hope not) the antibodies she gets in your milk is the best thing for her. |

Thanks for all the well wishing, everyone! I am still feeling the same and food just sounds wretched! I am really struggling to nurse Nora and I don't know if it is me being sick so I am not as patient as normal, less liquids so less milk, or if she isn't feeling well, but she has been screaming every time I try to nurse her (*sigh*). I am so hoping this passes soon!

Oh, Alee, dh had this over our anniversary trip. Way to blow a $150 meal!!!! It seems to be a 3 day-er. Started with the "upper" portion of the GI, and ended with the "lower".
Rest, and get some gatorade. He couldn't keep anything in.

HOpefully rest and liquids will help and you will be better tomorrow. I agree with Nancy about the burnt toast...always works for me too.

I am hoping that it isn't really the flu (therefore Nora won't get sick) but rather just exhaustion. I have been running on empty pretty much since last Friday between Farmer's Market and having some relationship talks with Doug (everything is fine we just had some stuff to work through). Then there was Nora getting her days and nights confused because of the other stuff.
Tonight I am feeling better because I have gotten more sleep today and I am feeling good about my preparation for Farmer's Market. Hopefully this will all be in the past by tomorrow.

Sounds more like a stomach thing. BURNT TOAST, That is very helpful, Its the first thing I eat when I don't feel good.
