Hello, my beloved farmgirls!

Before I say one word about myself, I need to tell all of you ladies "thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou" for sending me all of your handmade goodies, warm thoughts, get-well cards, loving notes, and most importantly prayers and positive thoughts!!
I have been touched deeply and cried grateful, happy tears of love!

Here's the gist of me:
After much Dr. chasing, long waiting lists for "emergency" appointmens, I was started on 2 different IV antibiotics Vancomyacin and Clindamyacin. I have 2 serious systemic infections, on is a strep and the other is MRSA....pretty scary stuff!

The good things that have come of it are
1. I got to hire myself a cleaning lady!!! WooHoo!! Her name is Candace and she totally rocks....yesterday the bathroom looked like she was prepping for surgery!!
2. This makes me feel so weird to say it, but I have a Nanny!! I feel like only rich, snobby ladies have live-in Nannys....but nope, now this FarmGirl has one....it totally ROCKS!!Amber came down from SLC to live with us until she goes to Europe in mid-September. I have known Amber for 9 years, trust her completely, and love her too! She is great with the kids, and I get to stay at home and recover....Doc said I would have to stay in the hospital if I couldn't "stay down"
Which brings me to #3....I am learning to quilt by hand!

So fun.

Oh, another thing, after a depressed/depressing few days I went to Costco and got myself a super-cool digital camera, so I am blogging over on typepad...

Katie!! I'm so glad that you sent us an update. I have been praying for you. I'm so glad that you have help. I'm sure it takes a lot of stress off you. All you need to worry about it getting well.

Thanks for passing along the info about the MRSA. I have a doctor's appt on the 10th and I'm going to have her test me for it. I took all my antibiotics and the staph is coming back in the same spot.

Big hugs going out to you!!

Kay
