I saw a post somewhere else suggesting buying toothpaste from the dollar store. I don't know the %ages or odds, but foreign-made personal hygiene products are sold (oftentimes, sometimes???) in dollar stores and other deep-discount stores. That's why the items can be sold so cheaply. Many of these items come from China, according to reliable sources at the FDA.

With the recent problems with tainted products, including toothpaste purchased at dollar stores, I urge you NOT to buy these items there. Even name brands that you can trust in other stores have been found to be tainted when coming from outside the US.

Some people search for happiness; others create it.

If anyone is looking to save money and shy away from tainted toothpastes, you can always resort to baking soda and some tea tree or neem oil. Sage is also really good for oral health. Wild sage use to be used by native people to keep their teeth healthy.

Thanks for posting this. This toothpaste thing, among other reasons, is why I am so staunch about knowing EXACTLY what it is that is in my purchased products and why I tell people EXACTLY what it is and in what quantities are int he products I make. You never know what might make a person ill.
