Does anyone ever have days where you just feel grumpy?

I woke up this morning and just felt "off". I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but when I realized I was fighting with Doug because he wouldn't tell me how he manged make himself bleed with a fork (Don't ask me...he still won't tell me...) I knew something was out of whack in my system. I am not sure if it is a vitamin imbalance or maybe I am developing a new food allergy, or I was just cranky.

So after having a fight with him (silly fight) and dropping him off at work with both of us fuming mad, I ended up having to drive back to his work about 2 hours later to appologize.

I feel silly about it now- but this morning- phew! I was on the warpath!

Okay- I just had to share. LOL Thanks for not thinking I am a total nutcase!

LOL! Lori you are too funny! I haven't been grumpy for a few days now. I think it was just stress coming to a head but I think that situation has resolved it now. Don't you just hate those days where it feels like someone else has taken over completely? And afterwards you say to yourself "Why did I say that?"

Hugs!

LoriJ- there used to be an old superstition that if you exited you bed on the left side you would be grumpy all day. :)

I blame hormones too-good old PMS!

I agree - a year before trying again would be optimal. You don't want to wait too long though, because then you end up raising them as individual kids, and not brothers and sisters. that happened in my family. I couldn't get pregnant the second time right away - ended up going on Clomid fertility drugs to get my ds.

Oh that would be bad Sherri! LOL I sure hope I'm not pregnant! We are all girlfriends here so I don't mind saying that there would have only been one opportunity for that to have happened and even still it probably would be another miracle baby- But then again that has happened before- I have a 4 month old miracle baby laying on the floor right now! LOL

I would rather wait until Nora is at least a year old before trying again. I want to give her my full undivided attention that she so deserves. I was so sick with her, I don't know how I would be a mom and be that sick with a second!

Alee - you're not pregnant are you? My dd's best friend has two little boys 10 months apart - so it happens!

It could be PMS or your hormones are still adjusting after the baby was born. That takes longer then you think! If you feel it's getting out of control, try Black Cohosh and see if that helps. It does wonders for me.

ROFL- I took responsibility for it. I don't know if it was represted resentment or bitterness that boiled over or what, but we have gotten past it :)

Blame the hormones - that's what they're there for. LOL

There is a book, Alee, a children's book (my most favorite kind of book because they are always so profound in their simplicity) called, "I Love It When You Smile." It is required reading in our home when someone has awoken with grumpiness on their face...event he grown someones of the house.

I really recommend it along with some lemon balm tea. :)

Hey sweetie,
When you end up taking a 3 hour nap, you could have just been way way overtired.
We all have days like those, where you are growling when you wake up and have no idea why.
Good job for apologizing and not letting it go.
Later, Carol Sue

Enjoying the moments.

Thanks Ronna. You are sweet. We had a good evening so maybe I was over-tired.

Alee...it happens to the best of us at some time or another. At least you were able to realize it and make amends. Hope tomorrow is a better day!
