Hi, is anyone else using apple cinder vinegar? I use Braggs and I add it to my drinking water. I actually like water better this way. It seems to quench your thirst too. I even mix it up in my water bottle that I take to jazzercise class.

Oh Tasha, lol.. Sorry bout that. I'll have to give it a go. Do it help with tangles? My hair gets really tangled, one reason why I use conditioner.

I've always had some in a cup of tea with honey. I stopped doing that years ago, but recently my stomach has
been bothering me, so I started doing it again, among other things (like no more coffee, no more pork, no more
fried foods) and cut way way way back on the starches in my diet, and started eating a whole lot more fruits
and veggies....and man I feel so much better, and since I'm not drinking coffee, I've started the vinegar and water
with a little honey in it again. I've lost about 10 pounds and have alot more energy. I like vinegar, on my hair
too.

Glad to hear you use it too Tasha! Didn't know about the hair thing, so that is why my "silver" hair is so shiny, lol

i just use the directions per the bottle, 2 tsps per 8 oz. of water. I tend to use more because I use more than 8 oz. though.

Nope, I do not believe it's the same as drinking lemon water because they have different vitamins and minerals than each other. Lemon water has it's place though :)

How much ACV do you put in the hot water Tasha?
Thanks
Merle

ACV is just overall very beneficial internally and externally. it helps with a number of things, including arthritis, fatigue, high cholesterol and colds. There are a number of other benefits as well. It also has protiens in it, which is why it is really good for your hair!

I have a cup of hot water (tea pot water) and ACV every morning and I swear by it. I drink it before I have morning tea. The mornings where it is neglected, I can tell. I get a little sluggish by mid morning if I don't drink it. I mix it just like it says on the bottle (I use Bragg's too.) with a little bit of honey. It is a really wonderful "tea" if you will. Then it's on to my Green tea or Earl Grey.

'Tis good stuff.

The biggest reason I use it is because I drink more water this way, lol. I am bad about my water intake. I don't drink soft drinks or anything like that. I drink oolong tea, hot and cold, coffee, coffee and oh yeah coffee, lol. I have cut back on coffee, am down to 2 cups a day. And WATER!! I love water now. The cider vinegar does have the benfit of extra minerals, trace elements and vitamins. I am not sure how good it is as a weight loss thing. I have a friend who said it was a great help with heartburn and with yeast infections.

What are you using the apple cider vinegar for? A detox routine or weightloss or something else? And does it seem to be working?
