I have worn glasses since I was twelve. But it has been at least six years since I have been to the eye doctor because I just haven't had the money. Well I inherited $500 dollars and thought now is the time.

I had been having trouble reading and crocheting for about a year. After about 15 -20 minutes I just couldn't do it anymore because my eyes hurt. I admit, I was afraid I had some kind of eye disease.

Well no eye disease.....my eyes have improved alot over the last six years and that is why they were hurting when I was trying to do something!! He said my vision has improved at least 5 levels. I had never heard of such a thing but he said when you get "older" that happens sometimes. Now I am 56 and asked him if someday it would be perfect. He just laughed and said no, it has probably improved all it is going to.

He said my eyes are perfectly healthy, I just can't see. Ha. SO I ponied up the funds for new glasses. They are on order and I can't wait to get my new specs.

May God bless those who love the soil,

Patsy

Patsy-

How wonderful to get some new glasses! I am sure it will make worlds of difference! I have to wear reading glasses sometimes because my eyes fatigue. A couple of years ago I ended up makeing an appointment out of desperation because I was losing vision after reading or working on the computer. It turns out I was just ultra tired and my eyes just weren't functioning hardly at all because I needed more sleep! I had never heard of that before!
