Aint it cute??? He's been trying to pass this all weekend...finally this morning! Yeah! No lithotripsy this time. It is about twice the size of the head of one of those yellow quilter's pins. OUCH!!! Once I told him...before I ever saw one of them...oh good grief I have had 6 babies...to which he said "NONE of them had horns!!!" True dat!

Your poor man! I know that those can be just awful...my boss just had to go to the hospital for one of those buggers! He would work if a nuclear bomb went off, so when he came up to me and said, "Can you call one of the associates to take me to the emergency room, I don't feel very well..." I knew something was up! He was white as a ghost, and in a lot of pain!

Poor guys--I understand that these can be hereditary, is that true? My boss said his father had them often, and that was before the little laser that blasts them if need be!

Lemon Water is great according to his urologist. And it has worked for 2 1/2 years. There are many different kinds and many different causes. They are horrible though.

Thats a interesting pic.
My Dh has a little one that isnt big enough yet to do anything about, but hes also on coumadin so hes having some blood in his urine.
So they just watching it until it get bigger. seems weird that it has to get bigger before they can fix it.

Yuck. My two sisters have both been in the hospital this past year with kidney stones. They are only teenagers! I was concerned that I might be next (runs in the family?) but my mom says the doctor told her that they are caused by drinking too much soda and eating too much salty food. They are both ordered to cut back on junk food and drink 8 glasses of water each day. Maybe the cause is different from one person to the next, but you can't go wrong drinking lots of water.
