It feels really good on chapped lips too. Who doesn't love Burt's Bees Peppermint Lip Balm? It's one of my favorites!

Repels mice if planted around the base of your house (watch it, it is a pretty aggressive plant!).

Soothes a colicky baby without drugging them or harming them.

Mild relaxant, great if you have restless legs at the end of the day.

Good iced in the summertime, or hot in the winter with just a little stevia.

I'm glad I came back to this thread. I must put some peppermint and lavender around this weekend to keep the spiders and bugs out.

If you add some to your shampoo, then wash your dogs... it will help with their buggies too.

Good natural insect repellant. Mixed with lavender it will repel spiders and other creepy crawlies. I use it in the natural cleaner I make -- I've seen far fewer insects inside.

I got a little bottle of peppermint from Mugwort Maggie for my migraines. When I feel one coming and if I'm quick enough, I rub some on my forehead/temples and it does help. Also, did you know that if you put peppermint on a cotton ball and place it near where mice are getting into your house that they turn around and run away? Works for me. Susan

....and certain headaches. I put a bit on each temple.
