Posted - Feb 08 2011 : 4:45:18 PM In the past, and I mean the very first issues of the mag, I submitted articles and they were published. Just to see that I was a part of the magazine was so thrilling, I did not care about payment! But the generosity of the Farm came across in gifts and notes and by making my name shown and recognized......I do not know what the current policies are, but I would love to submit another article and would not care a fig if it meant money. Just want to contribute to MJF!

Posted - Feb 03 2011 : 08:11:27 AM What is the writing for? My husband writes for photography magazines and he is paid and has a by-line. The payment is made when the magazine with the article is published so an article he submits today he might not be paid for for 4 months. He also has several books out on Photography but magazine articles actually pay better. Kathy |
