Posted - Oct 29 2010 : 08:08:05 AM I'm taking a poll for future contest for my Sunshine Farmgirl Co-op. This one did not turn out good at all. The first week there were entries daily, but the second week only 1!
I'd like to find out why. What could I do differently the next contest that would get people excited to enter. So tell me why you liked this contest and entered and why you didn't like it and not enter.
No pressure just like I said for future contests and programs I'll be doing. If they all turn out like this one I'll be disappointed everytime and that is not good.
Please tell me your thoughts. Thanks, it is greatly appreciated.

Posted - Dec 27 2010 : 10:23:16 AM Speaking of contests. The last contest on my Sunshine Farmgirl Blog was another learning experience. We had over 50 sales for the co-op members, but only 3 people entered the contest. Very interesting indeed!!!!!!

Posted - Oct 29 2010 : 6:02:23 PM Thanks Angie for your comments. This contest was easy and fun to do. But, like you said people are busy and they miss things. I know what you mean too about feeling like you probably won't win. But, I've found that I've won things in the past and was so surprised so you never can tell. That's part of the fun! I hope you entered!

Posted - Oct 29 2010 : 4:40:52 PM It depends on the contest and the depth of committment to get through the entry. If there's lots of effort... I'm likely to not even try being as I would rarely win anything anyway. Such as... sometimes people do contest's on their blogs and when I try to leave a comment, I have to set up an account or go through some long process. It's not worth setting up another account for something I won't use just to do a contest.
FOr this particular one... I didn't even see it. Not because you weren't advertsing well enough. But it didn't catch my eye. -)
I think that is a big issue with making your contests more successful. Advertising! It's such a rapid fire world nowadays. If it's not in front of our face on a regular basis... we forget about it with the click of a mouse.
SO that's just my opinions. Good luck on your future contests!
Do what you love, love what you do. |

Posted - Oct 29 2010 : 10:42:56 AM Hi Marsha!
I love contest, and I did enter. Hope you got it - there were a couple of store sites that I couldn't open for some reason, but I found the farmgirl!
Thanks, Luanne
