Posted - Sep 03 2010 : 7:42:15 PM Hey Gramma Pam, Mel and Cindy Lou, thanks for the welcome.I live on a State Park with a hunky Ranger, am a relaxed homeschooling mom who teaches her kids through life experiences (gasp! hold on, we use curriculum too), and looks for fun around every corner. I grow veggies to sell at the farmers' market in our village that I started with some friends. I grow and promote high quality, locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables. I want people to meet their farmer and know where their food came from. I am also on our states farmers' market board. Tell me about yourself! Stephanie

Posted - Sep 03 2010 : 5:05:11 PM A big HELLO and WELCOME from Washington State!! I'm fairly new myself and I know will enjoy the chat room very much. What kinds of things do you enjoy doing? Are you fortunate enough to have a farm, large - small - inbetween? We live on a 1/4ac. subdivision lot but we try to grow as much of our own food as possible and as far as I can tell I'm the only one in the neighborhood to hang my wash out on the line. People used to think we were a bit strange, now with everyone trying to go "green" we're quite trendy. I guess we were just ahead of the times. Look forward to hearing more from you.
