Posted - Apr 22 2010 : 09:04:43 AM Hi everyone - Have not written in a year plus. sorry! I feel bad because now I need some advise. I have 2 week old kids which I am giving away to breeder. Wanted to give them a good start, allowed them to nurse off mom, mom's bag is becoming uneven so I must make a change. I called breeder to have him pick up kids - he is busy - should I leave the kids on but milk out the smaller side? take the kids away and teach them to bottle feed? I took them off last night after I milked her nearly dry. Milked her this morning with effort because this is her first freshen and she was sore. My idea was to put them on 12 hours and off 12 hours after they were 2 weeks old which will be this coming Sunday. I am concerned about the uneven bag. any comments or suggestion would be valued |

Posted - Apr 22 2010 : 09:44:27 AM I had the same thing happen. I took the babies off & milked her & it came back in a couple of days.
