Just came into Missouri from the Kansas side and it snowed on me all the way home. Just saw there was a terrible wreck on hwy I70. Getting slick spots. I'm so ready for this to all be over. At times driving home it was like a blizzard. You all be careful. Brenda

An inch or two of the white stuff just fell here in Illinois. I took my dog for a walk in it and everything was so quiet and peaceful.

It snowed here in Florida about 4 inches. It hasn't covered the ground near me since I was 5 years old. Crazy and beautiful! Snow is a treat for us because snow doesn't happen here. My sister lives about and hour away in Alabama and she had lots of snow. Tree limbs were snapping and falling to the ground. Her house looked really beautiful in the snow. Similar to the Walton's house with a porch all the way across the front and down the side. Pretty.

Lots of snow going on here. I received a day off. loved it. The snow isn't bothering
me much, I have so much indoor things I like doing that I don't have to feel quilty about
not going outside to do something. Everyone stay warm and safe. Hugs Toni

Your girls to the East enjoy the storm it was here in the Midwest the last two days and was wonderful. DH plowed yesterday when about 8 inches was on the ground but this morning there was about 16 or more inches. Just love it but then I don't have to shovel it either. The best snow storm I witnessed this year was when visiting my son who is stationed in Korea. I visited for 2 weeks and during that time they had about 20 inches. They normally have 5-6 but in not more then 1 inch increments. 3 days before I was to come home they had 13+. They have very little in the way of removal equipment including shovels. Was awesome to watch 7-10 men line up shoulder to shoulder with shovel made of 2x4's and paneling. They would count and move in unison across the parking lot and others would follow behind with another set of shovels. Their smiles were priceless.

Hi Linda, We have had about 30" or so this season. Not alot compared to the east. But for the last few years we haven't had much. How about where you are? I don't think we are that far from each other.

Happy Days,
Brenda

I'm feeling bad for those farmgirls to the east of us....but we've got about 10.5 straight snow around here in mid-michigan. Those drifts are a bit higher though..

I'm with Jessie, Were hip high PLUS in some areas of the farm. Poor BF came in from the barn this afternoon and the bottom of his jeans were frozen. But I have to say that i've had enough snow to last me for awhile. I'm ready for spring.

It's not hip high here yet but it's working on it. At 11 AM we had 11" and it's still coming down really fast. I just hope the power doesn't go out. Stay safe and warm all you farmgirls!! (I did have a day off from work today - YAY!!!)

I worked from home yesterday but, ventured out today and it was not all that bad. Still snowing, blowing and really cold.

Sorry
I was out looking at my garden I think If i spread some plastic I could start to dry it out and start planting the cold crops.
But on the other hand I will have a dry well this summer so I would like to have the snow.
