Posted - Mar 07 2008 : 3:25:56 PM Does your family have a blog?
Not just one for your immediate family, but one that Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles cousins etc can all post on?
I am thinking of starting one for my family so that we can all keep track of each other.
If you do have one, do many people post? Or is it a constant struggle to keep it updated?

Posted - Nov 11 2008 : 06:36:47 AM There used to be sites just for this. Something like familysites.com I can't remember. I do a lot of things where I get points on this website for clicking on ads (I can turn these points in for gift certificates to just about any where I want) and they used to send ads for this family site thing. Like a blog, had a place for photos and all kinds of things. I set them up for my family but the family never came. Now most of my family is dead.
My siblings use MySpace, but that's about it. We can keep up with each other a little there, but that even isn't updated as much as I would like.
If you have family that spends a lot of time online it would probably work great.

Posted - Apr 28 2008 : 3:29:47 PM You can start a blog through www.blogspot.com and then add users once it is signed up for. We are still trying to come up with a name for our blog that won't exclude any familes and yet will be unique for all of us.

Posted - Mar 07 2008 : 7:24:23 PM Actually, I never even thought of that. But I love it! What a wonderful idea to bring families together ... especially when you live far apart or can't spend a lot of time together. I hope you do it!
