Had this idea since i got a new pair of boots and I'd like to keep them as non-stinky as possible. Not really a new idea (its around the internet) but easy to make yourself.
Sew up 2 cloth bags (one for each boot) containing:
-baking soda
-a few drops of your favorite essential oil (i like lavender) on a small piece of cardboard
I like that you can make them whatever size, shape, color you want. Also might be neat to attach a ribbon or rope to pull them out of your boot easier. If I ever make these up I'll post a picture!

Cool idea, and yes using a string to attach to the both would make it easier to get them both out at the same time. Thanks for sharing! |

This sounds like a great idea for when I store boots for the summer. They tend to get musty while being stashed for months.

Sounds neat. Might try it. What if you attached a ribbon or rope long enough to connect the two so when you pulled on the ribbon or rope it pulled both out at the same time?
