I've heard some people say that putting osage oranges in your corners will keep spiders at bay.

I'm desperate for a solution, as I've caught 5 WOLF spiders in my house in the last few DAYS.

Does it work?

They sure do work! I've had very good luck with them - just check them often and replace as needed.

I have been using them in my farmhouse since we moved here about 7 years ago... they work for us. If they get yucky throw them out and put a new one down. They keep nicely in the garage all winter long>

Growing up in the midwest my mother always used hedgeapples around the house to keep spiders and other creepy crawlers out. I used when ever I could find them, they seemed to work esp. with spiders.

Yeah? hmm. I wish there was some way to put them "Cutely" (Is that even a word?) on the floor. Maybe on some little saucers or something?

hmm. I was thinking of using some cute red ribbon tied around them and hang them from the ceilings so they'll look more decorative.

They worked for me but I did have a few go rotten I think I had to much moisture in my house. My mom and her friends swear by them.

I would LOVE to scoot a lizard in the house. I don't mind lizards one bit!

actualy, what works the best for spiders, are lizards, when ever one appears in the house, I leave it, and there is a big reduction in spiders, poisinous and non-poisenous, when the lizard runs out of food, he disappears as quickly as he showed up...

I think they work... I have read differently, but I know others that swear by it as well. I just know...it doesn't hurt. :)

I've heard bay leaves are supposed to work too...but I have not tried it. (I moved upstairs & out of the cave & got rid of most of the spiders.) And our spiders aren't dangerous/poisonous, just icky. I think I'll keep them lol.
