Take those extra non-matching spoons in your drawer OR find some neat vintage looking ones from the thrift store, melt some chocolate, dip the spoons in making sure to cover the entire spoon bottom and give them as gifts!

Classy way to flavor tea, coffee, or give hot chocolate a boost! Sometimes I dip the spoon in regular chocolate, cool and then I dip half way in white chocolate. I've also sprinkled Andes mint chips and chopped up candy cane on the spoons too.

An idea I had for this years Christmas presents is making a red nosed reindeer on the bottom of the spoon in chocolate complete with a cinnamon imperial for a nose!!!

Mothers are those wonderful people who can get up in the morning before the smell of coffee. ~Author Unknown

Here is another idea for spoons, metal or plastic! Gift Tags!

We took white plastic spoons and punched a hole in the handle. In the bowl of the spoon, we put two chocolate kisses. Wrote the name of the gift receiver on the handle. Wrap the bowl of the spoon with plastic and a bow and attach this tag:

In this spoon full of loving,
Two kisses you will see.
One from Santa,
and one from me.

Super cute idea! Very clever. I hate the random miss-matched spoons that just seem to appear? in my drawer. Great way to give them out, and not toss them out.

The tears I shed then, watered the flowers I harvest now.
