Cinnamon for ants, sticks or powder. The fresher the better spinkle where you seem them sprinkle on the ant hills. My mom told me this and wow does it work!

I've been putting cinnamon at the base of the post holding our hummingbird feeder. The ants would go climb up into the feeder. Works great! Cinnamon is also s'pose to help regulate blood sugar. It's amazing stuff and even tastes good!!!!!

Yes it works you sprinkle it just inside or just outside of your doors and they woun't come in over it isf they are in your home sprinkle it over the area where they enter your home and they won't use that path anymore. It irritates their skin. (sp)Taulcome powder does this too we use both together when we do it.

have a lovely day and may God bless you and keep you safe

My mom had ants really really bad. She tried all the remedies and all the store bought stuff. Finnally she found this info somewhere and it worked and ALL her ants were gone. I had those little black ants and I tried everything too. They were in my bedroom and I could NOT get rid of them I put cinnamon sticks where their trail was and anywhere I saw them and they were gone and 2 years later have never come back. I have small children and don't like to use too many chemicals but the cinnamon is perfect and works like a charm. I sure hope this helps.

Never heard that before, Reina. I'll give it a try. I heard on the news this morning that a small amount of cinnamon(I think it was a teaspoon) has more antioxidants than blueberries. Cinnamon is just all kinds of useful! :)
