Quick to crochet! They actually work a bit better than the commercial Swiffer pads. They have ridges in them to pick up dust, pet hair, random Lego guy heads or squashed Nutrigrain bar crumbs (not that I personally know anything about those things). They can be washed and reused over and over again!

What a great idea!!!

I hate the paper waste from "disposable" products and it would be easy to fabricate something like that!

I started making some for my sister and I. I can't wait to try them out!

I love mine.
My daughter cleans house for me every other week ( to work off a debt) and she loves them too
Today my son, who is 25 and a newly wed asked me when I was going to get some for him.

I used Swiffer for a while but the thing was just too small (I have 3 indoor cats...).
Flylady (www.flylady.net) has a great one for sale with larger "heads" and washable covers.

Sorry i didn't mean to imply it was that one you had used. I think you making them and selling them is great as not everyone can crochet but most people ( I hope all ) clean their homes and what you make is useful and practical.

have a lovely day and may God bless you and keep you safe

A HUGE Farmgirl thanks to those of you who have purchased one (or several, you know who you are!) of my Sweeper Sweaters! I just wanted to say that I have a great big batch of them heading to a Craft Sale in Texas the first weekend in December. If anyone lives in Texas and might be interested I can give more details. I've got some Sweeper Sweaters available in my etsy shop and also some new patterns of Green Sleeves from The Gypsy's Daughter!

Theresa's swiffer sweaters are great!! I love the one I got from her...just a perfect "green" thing to have. I always hated throwing the disposable swiffer things away..and it didnt' hold onto the cloths I was using well at all....these are awesome!!! You gals will love them!!!

Theresa,
Just wanted to let everyone know that these work great and actually do a much better job than the store bought ones. Doing up against the baseboards WOW! my husband was very impressed. We vacuum and swiffer daily due to my allergies. So we give this a big thumbs up!
