It must be coming soon, because I'd preordered the book months ago, and it just appeared on our credit card statement! My husband said "What did you just order from Mary Jane's Farm?" And I said "I didn't order anything!" Then I remembered the book! Yippee! It's probably close to being on it's way!

I pre-ordered my copy months ago. I keep hoping I'll 'forget' about it and then it'll be such a surprise when it arrives, but I can't forget...
I just checked on amazon and they have a picture up, which they didn't when I ordered it, and it says it's expected on May 3rd!!!!

I am *so* psyched to see the stitching patterns and ideas that MJ and her crew of mega-talented ladies put out!!!! I especially loved all of the "vintage"-type patterns that were on the aprons and on the linens shown in her Lifebook, so it will be interesting to see what comes forth.

I ordered the book directly from the MJF website...so as to keep all of the profits at MJ's where they *should* be!

Mmmmmmm - I don't have a copy of the Premiere issue, and I haven't really looked through it, either. Count me in if it happens again, too!

Cool! I am looking forward to the stitching book. I've just begun my re-learning of sewing so this new book should come in handy. Also, the new linen line sounds amazing...and we have a Belks in Branson, MO. I'm less than 30 minutes from there so I'll have to check it out.

I'm almost caught up with MJ's books and mags. I've ordered and received all the back issues of her magazine, and I'm buying her first book this weekend. Those magazines came in handy during our recent ice storm. I had plenty of reading to keep me busy!

Theresa,
Thanks for asking!
I guess I'll just have to wait!

Yeah I heard around motherday or sometime near there but that was a few months ago. I am sure it will be a lovely book. I have not seen anything she has done to make me think contrary to that.

Hi KarenP and all our other sweet Farmgirl friends!

That really is a terrific idea to scan the Premiere Issue to try and distribute it. I asked MaryJane about it and her reply is "Not just yet" for two reasons.

The first reason is due to how incredibly busy MaryJane, Carol, Erik, and the rest of us at the farm have been! Not only is MaryJane's Stitching Room book due out May 1st but she's also putting out her linens collection very soon! (see link: http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/About/articlesawards/prnewswire-homestead.asp) As much as we'd all like to have a copy of the Premiere Issue (I would like one myself!!), there is just not enough hours in the day to accomplish all of it at the moment.

Second reason is because a couple of years ago MaryJane and Cindylou had sent a few issues of the Premiere Issue out on a tour. Over 800 women had signed up to receive a copy and send on again to the next woman. We also sent around journals that the women could put in a note or two about themselves or the Premiere Issue. When we received them back, everyone was floored with the wonderful journals! The drawings were gorgeous and the writing was personal and touching. Because they turned out so great MaryJane might do another Premiere Issue tour. We don't want to spoil the surprise of the Premiere Issue by having it available to all.

I appreciate the idea though! Let me know if you have any questions about this too. I'm more than happy to answer them!

Always a Farmgirl,

Theresa

Please check into this for me...
Thanks
