I have been trying to order the new MaryJane bath towels since Sunday the 12th. No luck.

Hi Denise,
I just finished speaking with Lucas and he says that they are finally en route to the Belk stores (and ours!). They should be showing up on the shelves in the next week or so. I really appreciate your patience with this. They wait will be worth it!

It is still looking like they will be arriving any day now. I just checked with our retail shop and they don't have any tracking numbers of towels coming to the store yet. I'll let you know when we have them in at our store. I can only assume that Belk will be getting them around the same time.

Hi Denise,
I finally got an update from Lucas who returned from his business trip. The explanation for why we have the 12th listed as a release date on our website is laughably simple in the fact that humans tend to be flawed from time to time. When Lucas informed our web designer about the release date he said that it would be "February of 12". To him this meant that they should be released sometime in February 2012. This accidentally was transformed into February 12th, 2012. That would also explain why the folks at Belk are unaware of what your are talking about. The February release date was set a few months ago and it is looking like it may realistically be more like the first week or two of March before everything is on the shelves.
I'm sorry that I don't have a flashier explanation beyond a miscommunication between two people. I hope that helps.

Hi Denise,
The release date for the towels was supposed to be the 12th. I called our retail store in Coeur d'Alene and they are still waiting for their first shipment to arrive as well. The person here at the farm who would be able to answer why we (and apparently Belk) are experiencing this delay is away on business all week. I'll pester him on Monday to see if he can find out what the delay is about.

Brian I have been trying to order them from Belks since Sunday the 12th.
They are not online anymore and none of their people I have spoken to on the phone know what I am talking about.
Last week their website said new towels would be available on February 12th.

Can you tell us a little more about the problem you are running in to? From our website we direct customers interested in the bedding and bath towels to some of the larger companies that carry our line. They have a much larger inventory than we do here at the farm and are better able to fill orders quickly.
