Wow,
My husband and I tried the ChillOver Recipe in the Farm Kitchen issue of the magalog, page 165 Brown Sugar & Vanilla ChillOver.
YUMMMMMMIEEEEE!!!!!
It is so rich, very very rich!
I thought my husband was going to stick his whole face in the bowl when we were cleaning up!
I'm making another batch tonight!
This is going to be added directly to my waistline.... I'll suffer!
It was so nice and pretty too.
May try some variations down the road, maybe a version made with almond or rice milk to see how that works.
This recipe, I think, will be my husband's favorite dessert from now on.
Give it a try, you'll love it!

I made the Orange & Carob Chillover last night. (I didn't have carob so I used baker's chocolate.) WOW !!!! Now I'm working on a Raspberry & Chocolate Chillover. I tried the Brown Sugar & Vanilla Chillover last week. GREAT!!! Next week I'm going to try it in a cookie crust drizzled with fudge sauce.

Mmmm, that does sound good! I'm going to be ordering Chill over mix really soon. I love Jello, but when I read MJ's book, I just can't bring myself to eat it anymore. And I love a chilly quivering mess of refreshment!!

I figured I'd get some chillover mix at Farm Fair. I'm afraid any money I make from being a vendor will get plowed right back into the field, from MJF and the other vendors there. I have eaten a lot of sugar free jello, due to using the South Beach diet a lot, and I know you use fruit juice or such (I'd have to look at the recipes again) but I hope I can figure some low-sugar versions...a chillover sounds like such a perfect summer dessert!
