Posted - Sep 08 2010 : 6:06:28 PM How many memebers already have their new issues? Have not got mine yet here is South Louisiana. Looking forward to this issue, since we think we know what is on the cover.
Thanks friends, Bonnie |

Posted - Sep 21 2010 : 2:59:19 PM I called all over town and finally found a Tractor Supply that carries them. Guess what? They still don't have it either! Has my town been blacklisted? ;)

Posted - Sep 21 2010 : 08:40:44 AM Ok, I just called the toll free number and my subscription will start with the next issue. So, I am going ahead and subscribing. But that doesn't help with the current issue :( The bookstore said that sometimes they skip an issue. I hope that is not the case with this one!

Posted - Sep 21 2010 : 08:37:26 AM Only one store in my area carries the magazine and they still don't have it!!! I am so frustrated! If I subscribe now will my subscription start with this issue or the next? I have been meaning to subscribe for a while, just trying to make it work with the budget. Even though I would save money in the long run by subscribing. ;) I go and buy every issue at the bookstore!

Posted - Sep 15 2010 : 1:19:53 PM I received my copy last week. It has been read and re-read several times. I really like the roasted vegetable section. I am not a vegetarian or vegan, but the veggies in that section sound wonderful. I don't know anyone that would eat a parsnip--so yummy. I can remember my grandmother growing them and preparing them. They were so good.

Posted - Sep 15 2010 : 12:42:07 PM Hi Bonnie. The magazine started shipping on Aug. 24, so you should receive it any time. I see others have just received theirs, so I wouldn't consider it "lost" yet. If you haven't received it in another week, then call the customer service number (800-476-4611). Thanks and enjoy! |

Posted - Sep 14 2010 : 7:14:03 PM Still do not have my Oct/Nov. issue here in Louisiana. How long do I have to wait until it is considered lost? I have been getting the others this year on time, last year some were late and lost. Thanks for any help. Bonnie |

Posted - Sep 14 2010 : 1:37:31 PM Hi everyone! I see there are a few questions on this thread, so I'll answer them all here. Amy, the magazine is scheduled to hit newsstands today, so it should be on shelves now in your area.
Kristin, the cover shot of MaryJane and Nick in the field was our last issue (Aug/Sept); this one has MaryJane in chaps with her horse (the Oct/Nov issue).
And Loyce, MaryJane is wearing our "No Frills Frilly Apron" in the photo on page 55. You can order the pattern here: http://shop.maryjanesfarm.org/store/c/81-Apron-Patterns.aspx
Enjoy your magazines, girls!

Posted - Sep 14 2010 : 12:25:15 PM How fun to get each new issue! I have a question--where can I get the pattern for the apron MJ is wearing on page 55 where she is hanging up garlic? Any ideas? I like the flounce rather than a ruffle around the bottom.

Posted - Sep 10 2010 : 6:50:04 PM I got mine yesterday. Haven't had time to just sit and enjoy but will save in for Tuesday, 9/14. Hubby broke his knee cap and has to have surgery, so I will savor it in the waiting room. Believe it or not, this magazine seems to calm and soothe me and I think I will need some of that.
