I was reading the instructions in the magazine and am wondering if I'm missed the rest of the instructions on finishing the canvas rug in the Aug/Sep issue. I see about how to coat each piece but not how to actually attach them and finish the rug. Maybe I'm just missing something in my reading?

Howdy all,

I actually received an email regarding this. The full instructions for the canvas rug are in the "body" of the article. The pictures below are to help clarify some of the instructions as well as provide some "customization" ideas. Make a nice cup of tea, take your time and the answers will appear. :)

Thanks,

~Brian

you could, if you wanted to, make it like a floor cloth, and not have a hem at all. Just use a fray sealant and treat the edges that way.

I can't use the glue so I'm sewing mine like a rag quilt.

I sewed mine on as well as gluing them...i'm not sure if that's what we were supposed to do, but I figured extra security never hurt:)
