I'm working on setting up a new shopping area.
With a little customized development, it will help us to resolve all the shipping issues with items such as new Sisterhood memberships looking like they'll cost $15 or more to ship, or apron patterns and magazines that should only ship for a dollar or two, but can't when only UPS is available. The shipping charges will show up properly for all these nit-picky little items, as you're viewing your cart or checking out; or, at the very least, you yourself will be able to select from a better variety of shipping options, such as cheaper USPS options when UPS isn't going to be cost-effective.
I do realize that it's difficult to know for sure what is going to get charged to your card, when you place an order online and the page tells you a certain price. That's why we're getting very antsy to resolve this soon, so all our shoppers can simply get the correct final total with the shipping arranged how we're actually going to ship it - without text explanations all over the place, and manual correction by us after the fact. So, look for it soon! |
