Posted - Sep 13 2009 : 5:56:47 PM What about a cool magazine holder or storage box? I'd love to see a nice storage box for my MJF magazines. I'm pretty protective of my magazine copies. Just a thought... KarenP

Posted - Sep 16 2009 : 3:15:46 PM I use laundry soap boxes for my magazines. The cardboard is much heavier than cereal boxes and the smaller size of soap box holds magazines perfectly. I cover them with contact paper of course! You can also leave the lid on and make stacking storage for other things, and a small plus, they smell good.

Posted - Sep 15 2009 : 05:34:36 AM I used cereal boxes to hold my magazines until I found a great galvanized tin parts bin at an estate sale. I hung it on brackets and store all of my magazines, craft books and files in it. It holds a ton of stuff. :) But, if I didn't have that, I'd be back to using those covered cereal boxes.

Posted - Sep 14 2009 : 5:08:02 PM Michelle, that's exactly what I do! I used to work in a library and they used to purchase magazine storage boxes for the archives. I looked at them very closely and they were basically cereal box size and covered with faux woodgrain paper. I use the smaller cereal boxes, cut the top at a slant and cover with contact paper in pretty designs. |
