o.k. farmgirls .. i just HAD to SHOUT that out! Received my 'goodie box' today from Maryjane's Farm .. with all the back issue magazines .. and mixes ... and thought i'd try the 'ATTITUDE' snack bars .. sooo .... i ordered only ONE of the pumpkin seed, macadamia nut and almond-cashew. was going to put them in honey hunk's christmas stocking. BUT ... tonight, i caught him chowing down on one of those nasty tasting Power Bars that he buys boxes and boxes of from a sports store! soooooooo ... i went to my secret hiding place and pulled out the ATTITUDE bars .. and opened one myself and started nibbling on it!!!!!!!! i RAN to the bedroom to give him "one bite" ... he not only finished it off in a nano-second .. but just about ate the wrapper and three or four of my fingers that had a 'death-grip' on that bar! i ran back to my secret hiding place .. got the other two .. and we demolished those within moments!
then we did some 'comparing' of ingredients and carbs .. the power bar had 45 carb grams ... (not to mention High Fructose Corn Syrup as the very first ingredient) .. and then a bunch of those scary, un-pronouceable chemical thingies listed on the wrapper! i proudly held up the 'very empty' wrappers and read all the healthy, organic ingredients .. not to mention how INCREDIBLY delicious they are .. and that, dear farmgirls is the 'gospel truth'!!! AND .. these make great 'diabetic' snacks for me .. cuz' they are low in carbs to be a healthy snack for me .. OR .. to bring my sugars up in a healthy way if they are dipping! soooooooooo .. first thing tomorrow morning .. i'm going to order a zillion of these ATTITUDE bars .. and if the other mixes are as delicious as these bars are .. well, i may end up in 'debtor's prison' over maryjane's foods!
gotta' get offa' this machine now and go envelope myself in those magazines! xo, frannie

i gifted maryjane's attitude bars and energy bars to my kids in their christmas stocking (then immediately started 'purloining' them and gobbling them down .. didn't eat all the bars cuz' the whole bar is 50 grams of carbs .. and my diabetic diet limits me to about 20 per snack ... UH DUH!!! i guess i could eat HALF a bar for a snack ... IF i had the willpower!
so when i came up to visit them .. my son-in-love was chowing down on one of them and before even hugging me hello .. he exclaims (with mouthfull of energy bar) .. WOW! these are DELICIOUS!! WHERE did you get them!!!!
Another convert! promised him i'd order a dozen or more of them for him soon's i get back home to kentucky!
have all of your farmgirls tried them yet?
