I dont suppose there is a MJ calender? If not, MJ, in your spare time, can you get one ready for 2009? I would like a wall size and a purse size. It would be nice if the wall size had pictures of your farm and animals and provided tips on the current months stuff to do, ie: start planning cold crops, cherries are coming, get your canning supplies ready, etc....the purse size can be simple.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one thinking 2009 calendars already! Thanks for the update Sunny. I will patiently wait...

Hi Everyone,

No worries, there will be a 2009 calendar available sometime before December, but for now, the main priority is the magazine production schedule.

Thank you for the calendar suggestions, Kim, and very true about the differing planting info, Julie. Let's see how it all comes together in the final product!

Have a lovely day (in addition to whatever the calendar suggests for today)!

~Sunny

Thanks Julie for the info. I was wondering when and if someone was going to reply. Saw lots of readings but no reponses.

Thanks for posting the link Julie! I was just about to do the same thing!

I love my calender as well! It is a thing of beauty so I love having it on proud display. Some Calenders are so....Calendery. They look like something that everyone has somewhere in their house. The MaryJane Calender is so beautiful. You could frame the top half and people would think you had just put a Calender below a gorgeous photo on the wall!

The 2007 and 2008 calenders both came out in November I believe. They are a wall size calender with BEAUTIFUL pictures from around the farm. There are lots of little tips like "compliment your chickens today", "tie on your favorite apron" and "sneak zuccini onto your neighbors porch" It also tells current "holidays" in farming and agriculture such as "Ice Cream Month" and other things. Since the calender is sent all over the country and world there aren't a lot of "planting guides" but these can be drastically different depending on where you live.

I love my calenders. When they go onsale you will be able to order it here: http://shopping.maryjanesfarm.org/s.nl/sc.2/category.20/.f#Calendars

You will LOVE it!

I know there is 2008 calendar but I dont know if a 2009 has come out yet. The 2008 is just lovely. My mom gave it to me for Christmas. It hangs in the restaurant for all the world to share.:) Do keep me posted on what you find out.

Children seldom misquote you. In fact, they usually repeat word for word what you shouldn't have said.
