Yes it was confusing trying to order the mag. I emailed MJF and was given an 800# to call. I paid for a yr. subscription. Did not know that more than one mag was coming out this year. Hope I haven;t missed any. Hope something arrrives soon. Looking forward to the best magazines I have ever subscribed too!

Hello - I handle the subscription and single copy marketing of MaryJanesFarm. What does that mean? I spread the word about MaryJane and her Farmgirl mission through the mail, internet and newsstands. It’s my job to make sure everyone is paid-up on their subscription and keeps getting their copy of MaryJanesFarm throughout the year.

Reading some of your posts and listening to our customer service reps, it looks like we’re in the middle of some growing pains. MaryJanesFarm is now publishing 6 times a year, with 4 issues coming out in 2008 and 6 a year, thereafter. Many of you subscribed to the magazine through a solicitation made in November of 2007. And many of you heard about the relaunch of the magazine from your friends.

Some of you eagerly asked to be put on the subscription file and we happily did so. Some of you simply asked for a sample copy of the next issue. I fear that we misread the intentions of many of you and did not get all of your names and addresses onto our mailing list.

Over the past 6 months, MaryJanes’ staff in Idaho has gathered hundreds of names and addresses of folks either looking to subscribe or wanting a sample issue. I have this list and am in the process of mailing every person on it the new issue of MaryJanesFarm and adding them to the subscriber list. (For some of you, this will be a duplicate copy. Enjoy the second copy yourself or pass it on to a friend.)

Anyone receiving a copy of MaryJanesFarm you will also receive an invoice for $19.95 (the subscription price for a one year, 6 issue subscription. The first copy is included in the subscription.) If MaryJanesFarm is everything you expected and you wish to continue receiving it, please pay the invoice as instructed. If you’d rather not subscribe, simply write “No thanks” on the invoice and return it in the envelope provided. Keep the first issue with my compliments.

If you have not contacted MaryJane about subscribing in the past and would like to, please place an order online at:

https://secure.palmcoastd.com/pcd/eSv?iMagId=01002&i4Ky=IMJF

Any questions about your subscription can be emailed to:

maryjanesfarmwebcs@palmcoastd.com

One final note – now that MaryJanesFarm magazine is up and running again, any new subscription order placed (via the phone, email, website or mail) takes some time to get processed. From your hands to our computer system to a mailing label to the front of the magazine, into the mail to (finally!) your mailbox, takes some time. Roughly 3 weeks or so. I appreciate your patience. I think the magazine is worth the wait.

Greg

PS The new issue is being called our “Summer Issue”. I realize it’s not summer yet but it’s designed to hold you over until early July when the next issue, the “August/September” issue will arrive.

Laura check the email address. I have emailed twice and both times received a response within 8 hours. You may also want to check to make sure their messages were not sent to your trash box. I was told my magazine was mailed and that it comes BULK MEDIA MAIL which can take a little longer. She said I should get it by the end of the week.

I faxed, emailed and called 2 x and have not received a confirmation or magazine. I run to the PO like a love struck girl waiting for a letter from her beau...my husband seems to get a lot of laughing mileage out of this! lol

I got a card in the mail saying I was getting a mag, but I haven't got one yet. I am going to buy one at the feed store.

I'm so glad I read this forum... I have been trying to figure out how in the world to subscribe to the magazine. Thanks fellow farmgals!

Hmmm, so the gal who told me this is the Spring issue that's mailed didn't know what she was talking about??? Oh well, I'll be sure to buy one and if I get one in the mail too, will just pass it on.

Hi Ronna and Alee,

This issue that's going out now is listed as "May, June, July 2008" on the cover, and "Summer 2008" on page 4.

Thanks for double-checking!

The gal told me my sub would start with the summer issue and I asked if that was the first one they're publishing. She said no, the spring issue has already been sent out.

Ronna- I might be mistaken, but I believe the "Summer" issue is the one on news stands April 29th.

However, I just spoke with Sunny out at the Farm and she is going to look into this further and get back to us.

I sent them an email at customer_service@belvoir.com to make sure they got my info.

They emailed back right away, and said the magazine is on its way!

Now the wait...

I just called and they did not have me on the mailing list or show that I'd faxed the info to them. I'm signed up now, but will start with the summer issue, so will have to go find the spring one on the newstand. Glad I checked on it before too much time has elapsed.

You can call the publisher directly and get a yearly subscription for $19.95 at 1-800-476-4611. They can ship to Canada no problem but it will cost $39. You can also ask the people who answer the phones to check and see if you already have a subscription. Although that make take a month or so before it's entirely accurate because they've just started to send out their invoice letters.

No on-line options and that made it complicated to send a check since our bank is in Canada.
Good idea to notify them again, hope you have luck this time.

I faxed my request...suppose it got lost somewhere?? If worse comes to worse, I'll be looking for an issue on the newstands April 29th. I don't even rememeber an online option, just snail mail or fax.
