While it's still fresh in my mind:

Tonight's segment was filmed at the farm sometime earlier this spring or summer, I think. It showed the plum pit and the kitchen and campfire areas, the wall papered chicken coop, the fields, MJ preparing a bakeover for dinner and a dessert bakeover, storage areas of the prepared foods. And an interview with MJ, saying all of the things we've become accustomed to her saying. The surprise was two clips of interviewing Emil (whose name they spelled Eilm in the caption!), who was very protective of his mom and of her perhaps over-extending herself in this process of moving from being poor to being famous. It's was very sweet and loving of him.

The interviewer did comment that they could not keep up with MJ as she moved about her farm (and indeed he was lagging behind her on the way to somewhere). Her comment was that expending energy creates more energy to keep going. So very true.

My only dig is that interviewers seem stuck in the media comparison with Martha. I wish they'd just let that go. All-in-all it was a good piece and I'm sure will draw in more farmgirls to the fold!

Shoot...wish she was on a station closer to New Mexico! How come I haven't seen her on something like "60 Minutes" or "48 Hours" or "20/20", etc? I can't imagine anyone more interesting for them to interview !!

I shoulda turned left at Albuquerque..Bugs Bunny

Darn -- I don't get either of those stations.

Clare or someone that sees her let us know what she talks about! Thanks!
