Posted - Mar 28 2008 : 04:31:49 AM the farmgirl chapter newsletter came out today, and while reading through it i noticed some of the classes being taught at the farm in moscow. well, it could happen but the chances of my getting to moscow seem, well, remote. so it got me to wondering if there are any plans to make videos which farmgirls could purchase or rent of some of the classes offered at the farm. i think these would be useful for farmgirl meetings, and could really help spread some of that farmgirl wisdom around. any plans for such a product coming from the farm? would anyone else be interested in video teaching from the farm?

Posted - Apr 15 2008 : 04:36:43 AM I was just thinking the same thing. Since I live in Michigan, where winter lasts until May (we had snow just this week)we really need a greenhouse to start our seeds early. Please do a vidio on greenhouse building soon.

Posted - Mar 28 2008 : 08:03:53 AM Good morning fabulous farmgirls! As soon as we get a rhythm going with our magazine coming out every two months, video is next on our list. Right now, there just aren't enough hours in the day. If any of you have video skills, come on out and film Sunny teaching the class!!! Packaging it up for presentation online takes quite a bit of work, lots of hours editing and condensing...easier said than done.
Lisa Marie and her daughter, Felicia, from the Mountain Farmgirls Chapter of Idaho City are here visiting. What precious gems they are! They brought Megan and StellaJane the cutest homemade aprons, perfect for the next issue of our magazine, Raising Jane. I enjoyed some of her peach butter this morning. Yum.
Our next magazine goes to the printer this weekend. Carol and I are barely taking time to pee....

Posted - Mar 28 2008 : 07:55:59 AM well, i think it would be great for us and also for homeschoolers and for the sisterhood community projects. i have to take ceus for my ot license and wish i could take these kind of video classes but i cant. i would love a library full of these tapes though to share with my kids and grandkids, and my farmgirl chapter of one, me.
