I have noticed in several of the magazines it refers to ar advertises your 4th of July celebrations. Are you going to have one this year? Tell me about it if your are going to do it again this year.
Thanks.

Here is what Libbie posted about it back in May:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am SO excited to announce that In 2008, MaryJane plans on holding their Farm Fair on July 5 and 6 (Sat. and Sun.) in Oakesdale, Washington where their Old Mill is (you can read more about the Old Mill here: http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/About/our-historic-flour-mill.asp). Farm Fair has outgrown MaryJanesFarm, and they are just thrilled to have a venue like the Old Mill to be able to share. The town has a fabulous restaurant, a museum and some of the loveliest farmgirls on earth!!! The folks of Oaksdale are some amazing people, and you will just love everyone you meet there...And, any profits go towards the ongoing renovations of the Old Mill. MaryJanesFarm is about a 50 minute drive from the mill, so we can still have a Farmgirl Chapter Campout here and the wonderful B&B will be available, too. MJF is not taking reservations for 2008 yet at the B&B, but we'll make an exception for those of you who want to book a "room" for the Farm Fair dates!
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

XOXO, Libbie

Thank you for your research efforts.
I do know the story of the mill. It is a great thing that MaryJane has done.

Hi Lorie-

From what I remember, the farm fair is not going to be at MaryJane's Farm in 2008. Instead it is going to be held in Oaksdale, Washington at the old flour Mill that was featured in her first book. If you don't know the story, it is pretty amazing and I am sure I would just butcher it if I tried to tell it.

Anyway- it is a great way to get a small community involved in a fun celebration and let people see an amazing piece of American culture and history! I am not sure of the dates, I will update this thread as soon as I find the information.
