One of my favorite things about spring is the new farm babies! Our first spring calf was born yesterday. A bull calf:

Any one else having any spring babies yet?

The babies are so sweet!! :)

Shennandoah, we had ducks for a few years before some of the neighbors cats got to them during the night. They were khaki Campbells…great layers! :) I miss having them but I don’t miss the work of having ducks! :)

Karen :)

Awww! I love baby calves. Helping my dad feed the babies when I was a kid was one of my favorite jobs. besides my dog I also had a favorite calf - which I convinced my dad to help me bring to show and tell in kindergarten.

I don't have cattle now, but I have some broody chickens and should have chicks soon and got my first ducks! They are Muscovy and they are sooooooo stinking cute.

Michele, so precious! I'm so glad y'all share your pictures here so we can see them.
It was my dream to own a small farm, health issues changed my plans. It wasn't meant to be. I'm blessed to live on 3 acres of woods.
Both my grandparents who raised me grew up on farms, and some of their siblings became farmers. So I got to visit the farms as a little girl.
I know those of you who farm and own livestock work hard!
