This morning I was gathering my canning gear when I took my canning apron off the door between my kitchen and laundry room. As soon as I put the apron on Annie headed for the backdoor. It's been almost a year since I canned in my Yellow Rose Cottage, and I have put on other aprons when I can, but Annie remembered the apron that Linda "quiltee" made me that always hangs on that door. I guess she thought I was going out to the Cottage. I'm always amazed at what Annie remembers.

Sara, I bet that smart Annie did remember that apron or perhaps its own scent. Anyway, she is a great partner and I am glad you have her to be your buddy out in the Yellow Rose Cottage!

Krista, I got Annie from the Paris Animal Shelter when she was 3 month old. From the very beginning we have been great buddies.

Debbie, you're right they take us as we are and love us.
Denise, she always liked to go out with me to my Yellow Rose Cottage but she only came into it a couple times. She busied herself in the yard and poked her head into the Cottage now and then to see I was still there.
Michelle, Annie does a good job of looking after me and she is a sweet companion.

Connie, when I was first diagnosed with MS in 1995, my son was working and had his own apartment. I had an outside dog that looked after my 3 African pygmy goats but I needed something to look after besides just me. Something that needed to be fed, watered, let outside, and to be loved. I needed an inside dog so I answered an ad in the paper for a rat terrier puppy and Scully came to live with me. She was with me for 8 years. BTW and don't tell Annie but Scully was the smartest dog I ever had.

Sara, so precious! Our pets are sensitive to us and so smart!
I can't imagine MS without my cats and my neighbors dog who visits me almost every day.
