LOL, Mary Ann! I know those confusing looks...
Winona, I left the saddle sitting on the rail a couple of days so she could get used to it. She had a similar, slightly more violent reaction when I introduced the fly mask last year, so I shouldn't have been surprised. But I was. I mean, this girl was walking over plastic tarps on her third day with us.
Anyway, rain the past few days, so the saddle was set aside. Brought it out again today and she barely bat an eye. Go figure?
Sunny doesn't appear to be upset by it in the least. However, I still can't touch her

I'm doing some "negotiations" myself these days. We've only had about three rides, but he's doing incredibly well. No anger, no resistance, just occasional confusion. Oh, and "Why are your feet up THERE?" |
