They're raising sport ponies with him. Yeah, I'm figuring one of the Oregon HMAs. I want to go visit. He's over on the pennisula, so not just an afternoon drive; it'd have to be an overnighter. Not thinking City Boy would put up with another horsey vacation, lol!

He's making me drool all the more over the Ghost that I saw in Burns last week!

At first I couldn't figger out what breed El Barroco was as it only said his color but when I went to the pedigree, then it all clicked. He is really nice and has some nice moves, doesn't he? Wonder which herd he came out of. If he's in WA, maybe from the Burns, OR BLM?? But by looking at his pics and jumping, the guy sure has some talent cuz they are really pushing him training-wise. Lots of sense in that head and backed up by uber natural talent. I am really impressed with him!! The glass eye is really neat too. One of my first thoughts was, 'oh boy, keeping him clean must be a big chore!'...hehehe... I wonder how genetics play into his color. When you get into the dilute and double dilute stuff, I get lost and rely on a friend of mine who is a gold mine of genetic info.

Edited to add, I went back to look at his foals and they are the cutest. They are crossing with color mares and getting some nice babies.

The Andalusians were gorgeous! Mary Ann, you're right...what eye candy!!

Winona ;-)

Don't sweat the small stuff...

Couldn't tell what breed they are, but they were nice!

These people live a squidge south of me, and are delightful. And their horses are mighty fine, too; really good eye candy!
