Anyone out there in the broiler chicken business? If so do you do your own processing or hire out? Any one in NY know of a processor?

Our 4-H Poultry Project leader has been raising broilers for several years now.

She use to have them processed, but that got too expensive so now she does it herself. It's not difficult. In fact, our project members are learning how to do it too. There are lots of info on-line on how to do it. And, if you are selling retail you don't need to be inspected.
