Goodness gracious- our dog has a ton of ticks!! Any natural suggestions to rid us of ticks --for the dog and for our yard. We live in Florida.
Thanks
Denise

Again-it's not natural, but we use Frontline. It seems to work. Also, make sure your dog is vaccinated against Lyme. I know a couple of people who lost there dogs to Lyme Disease.

Denise, it sure isn't a natural product, but Frontline really works for us, and we SURE have ticks. The only natural solution I've known was one a former member of the family (i.e. dog) showed me--Sheba rolled in chicken manure and totally removed ticks from herself and our house in the process.

There is a Redeemer.

Denise, I used to live in Arcadia..how cool is that..not too far from Bradenton.:0)
I get down to Arcadia about once a year now to see my mom and sisters.
I'm due for a trip down south sometime later this year..maybe September.

Hi Denise- You may want to try the recipe in this link for your dog. It looks pretty easy to make, and I bet it smells wonderful! My sister lives in Bradenton, on 10 acres off State Rt. 70. With 3 Rottweilers, she has ticks by the ton. I'm sending her this recipe. (I bet you can get all of your ingredients at Good Earth Natural Foods.)
Welcome to the forum by the way!

Good luck in the tick wars!
