This is our first calf this year, Dixie. This was her first afternoon outside, in the fresh snow. Michele |

Posted - Mar 17 2007 : 11:24:31 PM Oh, Dixie is just darling! She looks so *nice*! Aren't they cute when they're little. Day before yesterday, my little guys and I hopped a fence to see the neighbors' day-old twin calves. They were so cute. Dixie looks a lot like them if the black parts of her were brown. Darling! Sending great calving wishes your way!
...AND...selfishly hoping that Mona has a heifer calf, too!
XOXO, Libbie

Posted - Mar 17 2007 : 12:50:45 PM Only going to have 7, hopefully, babies this spring. Had to get rid of half my cows last year cause of a drought. Not bad here this afternoon, about 39, was 7 this morning. Dixie was enjoying the warm sunshine today, sleeping in the hay pile. Michele |
