We are dealing with some health issues of one of our dogs. I sure would appreciate all your healing thoughts for our Virginia. I posted a picture and her story on my blog today. She's so sweet. I'm not sure I was cut out to have animals. Heart-breakers.

Wow. I'm still crying. Working at a rural shelter, your story of your Virginia brings all those hounds and their haunting eyes back to me. She sure is beautiful.

I am sending love and thoughts to your girl. She really couldn't be in a better place, could she?

Hug her for me.

Just think of all of the roads there are...all of the things I haven't seen....yet.

Thank you guys so much! I so appreciate your thoughts and prayers for our sweet dog. We got some GOOD news about Virginia. The doc doesn't think it is a cancer-based problem. I was very concerned about that. We don't know what we are dealing with yet, but at least it's not cancer. I'll keep you posted. The prayers and thoughts of the FarmGirls are a mighty thing, for sure!
Becky, I know, those eyes do it to everyone, even at the Vet's. Soulful is right.
Ann, thank you so much. How is your pup? This is hard and the rewards have been great. You're right.
Michele, Thank you for your words. They do have a heart and soul. I have always believed that, for sure. Been around them too long not to.
Patricia, You know how I feel about you. My "fairy godmother" always knows what I need to hear! Thank you.
Karin, Keep us updated on Bear too. He's another furry child I'm worried about.
Sandy, I try to remember that. I know it's true.
Shelle,Marybeth and Jennifer, Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers.
You FarmGirls are the BEST!!

Prayers for you and Virginia. You rescued her and her pups; you're a wonderful pet owner, Rebekah. This is the hard side of loving, but so worth it considering all the rewards we treasure.

Rebekah you ARE cut out to have animals because you care. I feel the same way, most of us do. It is heart breaking but at least they know they are loved. Animals have souls & hearts. Your dog knows you love her. My prayers your way.

Rebekah, remember to use your blue light. It will comfort both of you. The hardest thing about having pet companions is when it comes time to part from them. But remember, it's all a part of the whole. You are definitely the type to have animals. You just have a tender heart. But that's all part of it. You hurt more but you also experience joy more. How wonderful! And don't forget, they come back. You know Rags is just waiting for you to say the time is right. I love you.

Farmgirl hug,
Patricia

Warm hugs and healing wishes are going out to Virginia. And it's only because you have a heart that you take on the responsibility of animal companions. We know the risk of heartbreak is there, but the rewards outweigh the risks. It's just a very tough time to get through.

So sorry
