At least that's what I call them. Here's some pictures of my chickens and some eggs they laid today.
I'm trying to get the Buff Silkies to hatch chicks. If I get babies I will be willing to share(free of course)with anyone relatively close. I know it's not always practical to order 25 chicks in the mail. They are bantams though. I just love my Silkie hen she is the sweetest chicken I have had. The red crazy looking hen is a Frizzle, the rest in that picture are Silkies.

I'm not sure how hardy they are. I have only had them since last March as chicks. It usually doesn't get much below the teen's here very often. But they did roost outside all Winter even in the snow. It drove me crazy, they wouldn't go in the hen house. I put a heat lamp up in there and everything. I didn't lose any though.

What beautiful chickens! Are they hardy in the cold weather?
